Clinical Director for Residential Services
Overview:
Oversee the residential and outpatient services that occur at all Indiana treatment centers. Provide oversight for case management of our inpatient and outpatient clients. Has a deep respect for policies and ethics and can inspire that in others. Create ongoing programming and oversight of day-to-day clinical program that is needed for residential and outpatient clients. Will provide, supervision, training and oversight for staff to assist with programming. LMHC, LCAC, LCSW licensure a must.
Roles/Responsibilities:
· Hire, train, and supervise assigned counseling and case management staff of residential treatment programs
· Provide and oversee training programs and evaluations for staff
· Direct and organize company policy implementations
· Work to resolve conflicts and issues from policy to employee relationships
· Conduct weekly patient progress meetings as well as individual supervision with clinical staff
· Develop performance goals and monitor measurable outcomes against those goals
· Ensure residential program’s compliance and conformance with all applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
· May provide direct services including but not limited to skill training & development, supportive counseling, group therapy, case management, medication oversight, and crisis intervention
· Work with the Executive Director on issues of conflict to resolution when dealing with clients
· Ensure there is complete, accurate, and timely documentation
· Any other responsibilities necessary to assist in maintaining the functional operation of the residential treatment center.
· Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.
· Assist with responsibility of budgeting and resourcing.
· Assist with recruiting employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel.
· Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary.
· Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards.
· Ensure documentation and client records are current and within state and federal laws.
· Provide clinical supervision to students and/or therapists part of the program.
· Assist with program development
· Liaison with appropriate mental health departments, community agencies and private practitioners and churches.
